Congratulations to Miriam Peters, Natalie Levy, Sadie Fisher, and Sarah Giordano who have been selected to be a part of the cast inthe upcoming production of "Mary Poppins". Come see how students from 8 Wausau area high schools come together to tell the magical story of how Mary Poppins teaches the Banks children how "Anything can happen if you let it."
On Monday, Feb.16, 8th grade band students and on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 9th grade band students will be performing on stage with the Dallas Brass, an internationally acclaimed brass ensemble. The concert includes music for people of all ages and is open to the public. Come support the junior high school band students as they have a great opportunity to play with a professional musical ensemble at the end of the concert.

Attention to all Freshmen who will earn a 3.9 to 4.0 grade point average: Sign up begins Monday at 7:35am in room 214 for the book club - ABC. ABC - the Advanced Book Club - is a book club that will also be available at DCE Senior High. The Advanced Book Club will be offered at our Junior High for students who love to read and discuss high-level books and plays. Students who are considering taking Honors and AP English at the Senior High are perfect for ABC! Special note: Did you earn a 3.9 or higher GPA on your semester report card but still have not done an "extra academic activity" to earn an Academic Letter? Then ABC is the group for you. We will read and discuss three books (during activity periods), and you must read/discuss all three to meet the academic letter criteria. Please see Mrs. Bohm in room 214 to get involved in this exciting book club. Sign-up for our first book begins on Monday morning - first come, first served.
