Congratulations to Miriam Peters, Natalie Levy, Sadie Fisher, and Sarah Giordano who have been selected to be a part of the cast inthe upcoming production of "Mary Poppins". Come see how students from 8 Wausau area high schools come together to tell the magical story of how Mary Poppins teaches the Banks children how "Anything can happen if you let it."
On Monday, Feb.16, 8th grade band students and on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 9th grade band students will be performing on stage with the Dallas Brass, an internationally acclaimed brass ensemble. The concert includes music for people of all ages and is open to the public. Come support the junior high school band students as they have a great opportunity to play with a professional musical ensemble at the end of the concert.
Yearbook Staff: Please plan to meet today during activity period for a work day. We will be meeting in room 12 and working on yearbook layout. For those who are able, we will stay after school and work until 4pm.
The organizational French Club meeting will be Friday, February 6 at 3:05pm in room 11. We will have election of officers, organize French breakfast and plan for the French speaking contest at Wausau West. If you have questions, please see Madame Berns.
Attention Gaming Club Students: There will be a First Carp Lunch and Second Carp Lunch on Friday. Today there will be activity period in the room of knowledge, the theme is Will Wheaton. Finally, there is "Friday morning gaming" on Friday, where the featured food is Jello pudding.
Do you love to sing, act, dance? Then you should audition for "School House Rock Jr." This show includes songs from the educational cartoons that were shown in the 70's and 80's. Even teachers today share the educational messages found in Schoolhouse Rock cartoons. This musical is open to students in grades 6-8. Audition information and forms can be found on the drama website. Click on the Schoolhouse Rock logo, on your schools homepage, to get to the drama website. Auditions are Monday, February 2 from 3:15-5:00 or 6:00-7:30 at the Jr.High. You only need to attend one session. Information sheets are available in your schools front office or the choir room. We hope to see you there!
