Attention 8th grade football players: the weightroom at Greenheck is closed to weightlifting this week. The junior high weightroom will open next week, Oct.27 for 8th grade football players. if you have any questions, ask Coach Brandt or Coach Janke during the day.
The next History Bowl informational meeting and practice will be on Wednesday, October 22 from 3-4:00pm in room 116. New members may still join the History Bowl team by showing up next Wednesday. Any questions, please see Mr. Ammon.
Attention all 8th grade boys interested in coming out for basketball this season. Tryouts start Monday, Oct 27. We will practice in Greenheck gym, so make sure you have appropriate practice gear and get on the athletic bus. Also make sure you talk to Mr. Heller to make sure that you have all updated cards on file and your fees are paid before Oct.27. Also, if anyone is interested in buying basketball apparel, stop by room 226 for an order form.
Attention Gaming Club Students: First, there will be a Carp Lunch during the first lunch today. Second, the Gaming Club annual Halloween Party will be on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9:00am to 3:00pm Card tourneys, Board Gaming, and Open Gaming will occur on Saturday. Additionally, Brett from Dark theatre will be running "The Lair of the White Worm" Campaign. The highlight of the Club's "Halloween Party" is the "Costume Contest" at noon. Prizes will be awarded to the top three costumes! Finally, pizza will be served.
Incentive Day is coming up on Nov.7. Please remember to sign up by Wednesday Morning. Bring your $2 if you are going to the Dales Weston Lanes or to the movie theater to your homeroom teacher by Wednesday. Otherwise, you will be placed into an academic study hall for the day. If you have problems logging in, please see Mr. Juliot in room 133.
Volunteers needed - The Everest Metro Police department are looking for volunteers to help with the community Halloween party. Please sign up in student services today!
NJHS members - We need babysitters tonight for our parent/teacher conferences. The sign-up sheet is on the outside of student services. We also need to fill our slots for upcoming p/t conferences. This is a great way to complete some of your services hours that is required for the group each year.
New NJHS Member - We are doing a brief practice on Wednesday morning during homeroom. Remember to check in with your homeroom teacher and be in the little theater by 7:50 am.
